What’s the Deal?
NIPER-G is a big name in the world of pharmaceutical education, especially in Northeast India. Right now, they’re looking for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join their team on a project sponsored by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS). The project focuses on developing quality standards for Elsholtzia species and studying its effectiveness in treating gastric inflammation.
Do You Qualify?
Here’s what you need to know to qualify for the position:
Education:
- You’ll need to have an M.S./M.Pharm. degree in fields like Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products, or Pharmaceutical Analysis.
- And make sure your degree is from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
Experience:
They’re looking for candidates who have hands-on experience with natural product isolation and characterization. If you’re familiar with techniques like NMR, MASS, and chromatography, that’s definitely a bonus. Experience with molecular modeling and drug design is also a plus.
Age Limit
To apply, you need to be 32 years old or younger. If you belong to the SC/ST/OBC categories, are physically handicapped, or are a woman applicant, you can get up to 5 years of age relaxation.
