The Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) position is a contractual job that falls under the MGNREGS program, which focuses on rural employment. It’s a pretty neat opportunity if you want to contribute to grassroots-level work and help implement rural employment schemes.

• Job Duration: Initially, the contract is for one year but could be extended based on performance.
• Work Locations: You could be posted in any Gram Panchayat in Dhenkanal, as per the authority’s orders.
• Monthly Salary: You start with a consolidated salary of ₹7,000 per month. If you stick around for 1-6 years, this goes up to ₹8,500, and after 6 years, you’ll get ₹8,880! (Nice, right?)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• You should have passed 10+2 (equivalent to Higher Secondary).
• You also need Computer Proficiency. If you’ve done any ‘O’ level course from NIELIT or a similar program, you’re good to go! Higher qualifications like BCA, PGDCA, or MCA are also acceptable.

Language Skills:

• You should be able to speak, read, and write Odia fluently. There are different ways to prove this, such as passing exams with Odia as a subject.

Selection Process:

It’s super straightforward! Selection is based on your marks in 10+2 (excluding the 4th optional subject). If two candidates get the same marks, the older one (based on date of birth) gets preference. If their ages are the same, whoever passed HSC first will be ranked higher.
